OUR VISION AND PURPOSE

At PASTPAPERS, we believe every student should be given every opportunity to succeed in every aspect of their schooling life. PASTPAPERS aims to further this goal in the academic sphere. PASTPAPERS is an online collection of past examination papers and answers from schools throughout the state of NSW. The collection of examination papers will cover every high school subject dating back twenty years. This collection will be accessible to all high-school students throughout NSW.

WHY PASTPAPERS

The benefits of working through examination papers to the learning experience and results of students is well documented. It is shown to be one of the most effective ways for subject retention and learning, especially when the practice is repeated over time. PASTPAPERS aims to enrich the learning experience of students through increased engagement with practice examination papers. Students with increased engagement with past examination papers will develop deeper content knowledge, be more academically adept, and perform better in exams. Accordingly, we expect NSW education as a whole to experience a collective improvement in academic performance of it students, who will be better equipped for higher education, training and work.

PASTPAPERS is a future focused platform that will reduce the impact of disadvantage. The online education ecosystem is expanding and the PASTPAPERS online platform is a future proof and a natural fit. The Australia Bureau of Statistics found that in 2017, 97% of Australian households with children under the age of 15, have access to the internet. In the context of regular internet access, PASTPAPERS will enable almost all students from across NSW to have access to exam papers from the top schools in the state. Furthermore, the program will accommodate Aboriginal students, as well as regional and remote students to further reduce the impact of disadvantage.

OUR GOALS

Our goal as a company is to see as many schools in NSW as possible, evaluate, assess, to be convinced and to adopt PASTPAPERS into their regular teaching scheme. Our goal is an increase in the academic performance of students within NSW. We aim at having more academically adept students, who are prepared for higher education, training or work. We aim to further the NSW Department of Education vision to have the best education system in Australia, and one of the finest in the world. We believe that our user-friendly PASTPAPERS platform will support the furtherance of this goal.
